Annual Detroit Regional Sports Medicine Symposium

DMC Sports Medicine, in partnership with the Wayne State University School of Medicine, is hosting the 6th Annual Detroit Regional Sports Medicine Symposium Thursday, July 24 and Friday, July 25 at the Westin Book Cadillac, located at 1114 Washington Blvd. in Detroit. The DMC Sports Medicine program hosts the annual symposium to provide orthopaedic and sports medicine physicians, as well as fellows, residents, physical therapists, athletic trainers and students an opportunity to come together and share best practices. The event includes discussions of current trends in the diagnosis and management of complex orthopaedic injuries, including non-surgical and surgical options, research and evidence-based review, surgical and musculoskeletal ultrasound demonstrations, and breakout sessions.

Registration includes all educational programming, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Breakfast, lunch and social events are included on Thursday and breakfast is included on Friday. Valet parking is also included and a block of rooms is reserved at the hotel for any participants from out of town needing accommodations. Pre-registration is required by July 18, 2014.
